Shift: Days - variable. The Unit Manager assumes 24-hour accountability for optimal patient care, patient care standards, fiscal operations, and systems that support patient care for assigned area(s) of responsibility. Communicates and exemplifies vision for change for interdisciplinary unit teams and practice groups including coaching, mentoring, directing, supporting, and teaching. Utilizes corporate strategic plans and service excellence policies as a framework to plan and deliver high quality patient care in a cost -effective manner. This position requires a minimum of 2 years nursing experience and demonstrated leadership qualities. BSN required, or MSN. Masters degree preferred or agreement to complete Masters within 4 years. Certification preferred- or required to obtain within two years. Current license to practice nursing in the State of Ohio.
