Compensation: $18 - $21 per hour.

Local company in Akron area is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician.

Requirements:

•At least an Associates degree in Maintenance Technology or Electronic Technology is preferred
•3+ years experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
•Experienced trouble-shooting PLC, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
•Good people skills and demonstrated mechanical ability
•Desire PLC Programming Skills - GE Fanuc PLCs, Allen-Bradley series MicroLogix, SLC500, PLC-5, using LogicMaster 90, and Cimplicity programming software for the Fanuc series PLC, RSLogix 5
•Desire Programming Software Skills: Microsoft Visual Basic Component level electronic trouble-shooting skills, computer repair, and digital communication skills would be a plus.
•Willingness to work an off-shift (2nd or 3rd) schedule & overtime
•Must pass pre-employment background check (with no felonies) and drug screen

Compensation: $18 - $21 per hour.
